I was born in Colville, Wa. in 1966. I have great memories of several individuals early on who had a
great effect on me, thus contributing to my career choice as a professional photographer. Much outdoor
travel throughout the west as a young man yielded a passion for pictures of places. I really enjoyed
bringing back images of my travels and having them help me tell a story. In 1985, I enrolled at Brooks
Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca. After graduation with an industrial degree, I ended up in
San Francisco assisting. Paying many dues and learning greatly from real life experiences, I graduated
again from assisting to shooting and survived a brutal market. In February of 2000, I took a job opening
a digital studio for the Gap, Inc. Internet division. In September 2002, I moved my family to Sandpoint
to work for Coldwater Creek, where I am currently a photographer. I have a lovely, although occasionally
irritable, wife and three small, and occasionally wild children. Life in North Idaho couldn't get any
better.
